Since I was 6 years old, music has been my whole world. Since then, I've learned to play numerous instruments and been involved in music any way I can - school bands, orchestras, and choirs, gigs, recording, writing, and producing. I attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN and was awarded a Bachelor's of Music in Commercial Music, with an emphasis in Songwriting. I worked as a gigging bassist in Nashville and have had the opportunity to record bass for several artists during my time in Music City. I started teaching professionally in 2021, and fell in love with inspiring people of all ages to learn music. Since then, I've moved back to my hometown of Atlanta, GA and have been teaching piano, guitar, and bass full-time, while also taking opportunities for studio work and live performances. In addition to music, I am an avid gardener and dog lover! During the spring and summer, if I'm not practicing or teaching, you can find me in my vegetable garden with my miniature poodle, Bodhi!
Starting with piano lessons at 6, I've learned to play many instruments including piano, saxophone, oboe, guitar, bass, drums, clarinet, and ukulele. I decided to focus in on bass, and got a degree in Commercial Music from the prestigious Belmont University in Nashville, TN. During my time in Nashville, I gigged with several artists including Chloe Gilligan, Claire Maisto, and Alyssa Lazar and got the opportunity to play at many of Nashville's excellent venues, ranging from small clubs to 500+ capacity venues. I moved back to Atlanta and began teaching full-time in 2022, and since then have maintained a studio of approximately 40 students. I specialize in piano, guitar, and bass instruction, and am passionate about teaching beginners to advanced players!
